How to Choose the Right E-Liquid

How do you feel when you run of e-liquid, and your vapour crave is going through the ceiling? It is like running out of gas in the middle of nowhere.

Just the way petrol is to a car is the value of e-liquid to an e-cigarette, none works without the other.

And when vapour cravings are high, the only thing you need is quality e-liquid. Anything short of quality can make you go berserk. So, how do you find the right E-liquid that can quell your cravings at an instant? Check out next for our e-liquid-choosing pro-tips.

Check Expiry Dates

E-liquids expire just like any other food items. Despite their long shelf life, poor handling can result in early expiry. Again with the increasing number of E-liquid manufactures, some e-liquids can stay long without being purchased.

While expired vape juice may have few health concerns, its quality massively drops as a result of overstaying.

Signs of the drop in quality may include colour, smell, and taste changes. To counter quick expiry of your e-liquid, store it in a cool, dark and dry place.

Choose the Flavour That Suits You

If you want the right e-liquid, don’t go with the flow or what is trending, choose the flavour that meets your tastes. You can't miss the right e-liquid from the many blends available. From Cream, custard, Candy, Tobacco, Menthol, mint, to vanilla flavour options are vast.

Nicotine Content

E-Cigarette advantage over conventional smoking is the possibility of limiting nicotine intake. And if you want to enjoy your vaping, monitoring nicotine is crucial. Whether a beginner or pro, you can moderate your nicotine levels from 0-24 mg.

If you're new into vaping, you can start with levels as low as 0-5 mg. The zero nicotine levels should not bother you because vaping is always awesome regardless of nicotine levels.

It is easier to control nicotine intake with traditional smoking, but with e-cigarettes, you might have to count and track the number of puffs that make you feel good.

PG/VG Ratio

E-liquids contain both Propylene Glycol (PG) and Vegetable Glycerol. The amount of PG or VG determines the type of vaping experience you will have. E-liquids with higher amounts of PG have more flavour while VG e-liquids produce more significant clouds of vapour.

Most E-liquids have a PG: VG ration of 40: 60, which is okay for many. Unless you want a different experience, then you can try tweaking the quotas. If you're allergic to PG, you can get pure VG e-liquids.
