The best e-cig friendly countries to visit

If you’ve got wanderlust, there really hasn’t ever been a better time to spread your wings and see the world. Modern day travel is more affordable than ever, with low cost flights, sharing economy accommodation and new possibilities for making money on the road. Another modern invention, e-cigarettes, are changing the way we smoke offering a cleaner, smoother experience in thousands of different flavours. E-cigs make the perfect travel buddy too, often coming in a range of inconspicuous shapes and sizes. They’re portable, easy to pack in the carry-on and manage overseas and they don’t contain any dangerous substances or organic matter that’ll get you stopped at the border. Unfortunately, e-cig’s and e-liquids aren’t welcome in every country. In some places you’ll risk having your equipment confiscated, and in others even a fine. It’s important to do your research and know which countries allow e-cigarettes before heading off on a holiday to avoid getting in trouble with the law.

Luckily there are some great holiday destinations in the world that will welcome you and your e-cigarette device without hesitation. Here are some top places that you should visit:

England

England has more than just the Royal family, tea and scones working in its favour. It’s actually surprisingly relaxed when it comes to vaping. Most places in the UK are very welcoming when it comes to vaping. You won’t have any trouble finding stores or supplies in most neighbourhoods, but you do need to be aware that businesses reserve the right to ban e-cigarettes on private property so if you see a ‘no smoking’ sign, assume that it covers you e-cig too.

Russia

Russia is fairly relaxed when it comes to vaping. Smoking has been a culturally accepted practice for a long time in Russia, and vaping has been welcome with open arms. You can use your e-cig in most public places throughout Russia and there are quite a few stores and supplies available in metro hubs. If you’ve always wanted to check out St Petersburg or visit Moscow then you’re in luck! Enjoy some vodka with you e-cig and soak up some history.

Germany

Germany is well known for being a progressive country and that’s definitely the case when it comes to e-cig’s. Germany requires e-cig users to be over 18 years of age, but is fairly relaxed when it comes to openly vaping in public areas. You’ll fit right in blowing vapour clouds whilst strolling through German cities and enjoying some traditional bratwurst.

Sweden

You know what pairs really well with Swedish meatballs? You’re favourite sweet e-liquid. Sweden is a beautiful country with amazing vistas, and it’s also super relaxed when it comes to vaping, in fact you’ll be able to enter the country with your e-cigarette and e-liquids without any concerns about being stopped at customs. You’ll also find vape shops dotted regularly around the cities, and you won’t have any trouble with enjoying the use of your e-cig in most public areas.

New Zealand

Australia’s next door neighbour is a little bit more relaxed when it comes to vaping. Enjoy beautiful lush greenery and the use of your e-cig in private areas or open air spaces, the government allows e-cig’s so you won’t have to worry about getting into any trouble whilst feeling like you’re in the Lord of the Rings.

Beware of countries where vaping is banned

There are some countries to avoid if you want to bring a long your e-cigarette as they’re banned in some parts of the world. Be careful in places like Vietnam, Singapore, Cambodia, Thailand, Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey and in some parts of South America.
